09 DATA USE

What to do with all the data?

Having data after a workshop is a sign of a productive workshop. However, not all that is on a post-it is gold. Even with excellent documentation, you will probably need to do some data management to find the key points.

Do it soon. You will forget over time.

If you used templates, they are your best friend now.

Likely you will have some other notes too. Take

pictures of the results and write them down clearly.

Use data according to the purpose, whether it is

further analyzing or development, or whether it is

to be used in your next workshop. In any case,

prepare it so that it is easy to use.

10 RESPONDING

The finishing touch

The participants will appreciate hearing back after the workshop not only because it's polite but also because they might be curious of the outcome and their part in it. Write at least a few lines as a report for them. Remind them briefly of what was done during the workshop and what was the outcome. If you have results, even better. A picture is also nice to attach.

::

That was it! With these ten points, you should be able to create and conduct a great process.

AFTER A WORKSHOP

Once a workshop is over, it might feel like a good time to take a break, especially if the workshop was hectic. However, there are some extremely important tasks to do now. Without them the whole journey might have been for nothing. Here is how to finish a great process.

Here is a combination of two exercises in action (Persona cards and 5 x Why) where the other uses a template and the other is done on post-its.
